Royale Piano offers engaging studio, in-home, and online piano lessons for all ages. Our premier piano lessons include music theory, music history, technique, sight-reading, ear training, collaborative skills, piano exam prep, and other essential skills to develop musical excellence. In addition to piano lessons, we provide guided instruction for singing, songwriting, composition, performance, ukulele, as well as sound art and video production.

Premier Piano Lessons
For over a decade, Royale Piano has served families across San Diego, San Francisco, and Portland, delivering high-quality, academically innovative piano lessons. Renowned for its premier piano lesson experience, Royale Piano nurtures a lifelong love for learning and cultivates student academic success in music, the arts, mathematics and beyond. By building a strong foundation in music theory, history, and piano technique, we inspire musical intelligence that fosters excellence that cross into co-curricular contexts while passing down the timeless wisdom of great teachers and the traditions of long ago—and so much more!

Group Piano Lessons
At Royale Piano, our focus group piano lessons create a warm, welcoming environment where you can explore music alongside other fellow musicians. These sessions offer a safe, supportive, and nurturing space for piano playing, self-expression, songwriting, music theory, and technique—helping you master challenging passages through patterns, progressions, and complex rhythms. With the right strategies, we help you strengthen and refine your piano skills every step of the way.

Afterschool Music Enrichment Program
Royale Piano offers piano lessons in public and private schools across the Portland school district. Over the course of 10 weeks, our classes teach students to read, play, write, and understand the fundamentals of music on the piano—empowering them with skills that last a lifetime. By providing instruction directly at the student’s school, we make learning music convenient for families. Our program is highly flexible and can even be taught without a piano in the classroom, as we supply all necessary keyboards.
